** spoiler alert ** I think billing this as "funny" is a bit misleading. The back story of Balthazar and Hebe's dead young son makes most of the humor gallows humor. It does pick up midway through the story, with a sweet, poignant ending. However, short of their son coming back to life, even the sweet is bitter sweet. still, and interesting, quirky read. Loved all the facts about the Tower
