I've read this book before, when I first got it and although I like it and it has some interesting ideas in it, I'm not completely blown away by it. It does have some really cool ideas in it and I'm sure, when our first child is born later this year, I'll start appreciate some of the ways of connecting with family and gathering family histories more so she can learn about her past but for now, I just feel that it all gets to be a bit much at times. But I definitely like the idea of creating a family recipe album - but then again, I remember a format for this using an ordinary photo album that Becky Higgins did in the CK magazine that I liked a lot more...
