Jeff's Reviews > Palooka-Ville #20
Nov 11, 2011
While Palookaville #20 is not a major milestone in Seth's career, it's nonetheless an entertaining chapter in the continuing story of the Clyde Fans company. This main narrative is accompanied by a wealth of other material from the author's desk, and most impressive of all is a series of photographs of Dominion, a fictional city brought to life as a series of cardboard building models that have been exhibited at various venues in Canada. If all of this seems to further identify Seth as Canada's answer to Chris Ware, there's no harm in that - Seth has his own unique vibe, and it remains absorbing even when he's not doing his absolute best work.
