liked it

I have been wanting to read historical fiction on the Romanov families and finally saw this one (at Goodwill of all places!) ... and had to read it. It is really interesting and it presents both viewpoints of Ella, the Romanov Grand Duchess, who is also sister-in-law of the Tsar, and of Pavel, the peasant who was involved with the Revolutions. It is a quick read and definitely thought-provoking.
