** spoiler alert ** Simply one of the best of the best books I've ever read.

Especially since I can relate to it very well.

Aubrey, an everyday 12 year old. She feels as if she's lost too many loved ones at an early age. She has, and I feel the same way. Losing someone you love is never easy, and "Love, Aubrey" depicts this in an extraordinary way. However, she is rescued from her solitude from her loving grandmother. As memories continue to churn in her mind constantly, she finds herself at her grandmother's house. When she first meets her neighbor, Bridget, they don't necessarily hit it off, but over time their friendship grows. I have a few friends like this. As the book progressed, the water in my eyes couldn't be held back any further.

This book is heart-warming and shows you the rare point of view from a 12 year old. A wonderful way LaFleur shows this perspective. She shows us that even the youngest of people might have the strongest feelings.
