Lots of twist and turns, romance and old irish folklore. The story has a great pace and it's never boring. I really enjoyed it!
But there are few "buts"...
I didn't know this is the first of a book series and I was really disappointed at the end because the author leaves the whole story completely open. Usually at least a part of the story reaches a conclusion but here we have a clear "to be continued..." at the end of this first book with a sneak peak on the first chapter of the second book, just as in a story arc episodes from TV series. I don't like it in Books just as much as i don't like it in TV Series!
The other thing I didn't like much is the number of typos and editing errors. Not only mispelled words but most of all pieces of the sentence that wouldn't fit in, as if the author changed the sentence and forgot to delete a piece. Long story short: it needs editing.
I'm Italian reading in a foreign language and I could spot at least 20 errors, i bet I missed a few more.

Megan Curd I apologize for the typos, those were fixed later, so I bet you had a older copy. My editor/publisher published the book without a proof, so we didn't catch them until afterward. :( I had a couple people run through it after we realized the issues, and now those are fixed. I'm sorry though!! :)

Manuela Thank you very much for your comment!!
