I feel like this book was so much better than the first one, not sure if it is because the world and characters have been established, for the most part, or if the author wrote a stronger story. Either way, I am happy for it.

I really liked Rowan from the start, loved how she just went with things, wolves shifting into people didn't seem to phase her, nor did her feelings for Aric. Aric, on the other hand, seemed like a whiny baby, not what I expect from an ex-navy SEAL/werewolf. I just wanted to yell at him to get over himself.

I enjoyed all the others in the Pack, loved how they act like a family, and with any family there are tiffs that happen and forgiveness that follows.

There is a lot going on that I look forward to seeing in future books, Micah has a long road to hoe, Kalen is at a crossroads, and someone evil is after Sariel. I can't wait to see how everything turns out.
