I liked it, but somehow even though it is one of Oliver Sacks' most famous books, it didn't impress me nearly as much as his later writings. Still, he is an extraordinary writer who can take highly technical and obscure medical topics and turn them into fascinating stories and essays that can be enjoyed by everyone, so this is a good place to start.
