This book I thought was really good since I'm a White Sox fan and I didn't know much about the Black Sox Scandal. This was an exposition and I think the author's purpose was to inform us about the scandal since some was known about it but this book tells you the full story and why they were thrown out. The style was in cronological order of the chapters but every once in a while the paragraphs would happen in 1920 and then it would jump to 1921 then back to 1920. Overall I thought this was a great book.
