I think we have all, to some degree, seen someone in Anna's position and feel completely powerless to stop it. A friend of yours meets this seemingly amazing person and they become completely-bat-shit, stupid. They are so convinced that this person is the one that they can't even see the obvious thing in front of them. If you bring it up...why you're just jealous of their relationship aren't you?

This book is that. Except it's not your friend, but probably someone you talk to from time to time even if they annoy you. Anna isn't someone you sympathize with because of her personality, but because no one should ever have to go through what she's dealing with.

Downfall of this book is that it is very simplistic to the point where you are the reader know exactly what is going on at every turn, it's just that you need to see what's going to happen with Anna. Will she maybe learn her lesson or does everything go to shit?

Enjoyable, but nothing to run out and get. [2.5/5]
