really liked it

Part of literature unit:

Beginning with the famous cubist, Pablo Picasso, this book examines the work of the cubists and explains how this style of art differs from other traditional forms, including realism. Two pages are dedicated to both examples of and important background information for artist who create in cubist style allowing the reader to find both similarities and differences among work in the same genre. The bright orange cover of the book with a familiar cat on the front is eye catching and invites the reader to examine the pages. This book would be a great resource for students wishing to conduct independent research on Picasso, Cubism or one of the other artists mentioned in the book. I would recommend this book for grades 5-8.
