really liked it

This book improves considerably after the second reading! It made for a very interesting discussion in our book group and has more facets than you can count. I finally understand why it won the Man Booker Prize! I read it in one sitting the second time around and that helped immensely. I wish there was a warning on the front page that said "psychological mystery." Beautifully written.

Chris I agree!

I think I'm going to read it again before our discussion of it, Chris. Some reviewers say it requires multiple readings. But I don't look forward to it, that's for sure. Have you read any other Julian Barnes books?
