Double Dexter (Dexter, #6)

I was disappointed in this book. I've really enjoyed most of the Dexter series, and I enjoy the TV show as well. This book started off boring, with the usual waxing poetical about the moon, and that seemed to be a very recurring theme throughout the book. Dexter thinks he's really smart, and clever in how he writes, and sometimes it's just too insufferable to be interesting. He spent A LOT of this book mooning around about how he felt. it was funny to hear his reaction to actually being sick. and it's kinda sweet how he feels about LilyAnne. the villain was pretty evil, but he didn't really capture my imagination well--he just felt vague, almost like a side plot to Dexter's personal melt down. what can I say? I really was just disappointed. Looking forward to the next book, and hoping it will be more interesting. See where he will go with Debra, her baby Nicholas, the men in her life, etc. Not to mention this mysterious new foreclosure house... :)
