I didn't think I would like this when I first began reading it. However, it became easier and easier to read as I continued the journey. It provided an interesting peek at the women of the early 20th century. I never really gave much thought to womens' plights in the early start of the suffragette movement, other than to think in terms of the right to vote. But it was much more than that; it was the right to choose over the most intimate parts of our lives, including who and what satisfy us sexually. I find that I enjoyed the book more than I'd expected to.
