I found myself SO ANNOYED at this book. SO. ANNOYED. I wanted to like it SO hard, but. Grumble.

I would say I *just* liked it, didn't love it. I probably would have given it 2.5 stars if I had the option. GOODREADS GET WITH THE HALF STARS! Anyway, on the heels of that freaky ass book I just read, this was like a gentle light hearted lullaby, so context was key for me. But it was only ok. And enough with the dramatic deaths/weird baby situations, Weiner.
Word. Also: this came SO close to being a very relatable book, a nice little view into why people who chose to go through this particular fertility route chose to do it, and humanizing the whole thing ... except the intended mother was such a cartoon character of ridiculousness that like, WHATEVER, WEINER. WAY TO TOTALLY PUNT ON THAT ONE
