The Second installment in the thrilling, must-read, amazing book in the Chaos Walking Triology.

Todd and Viola, having run almost halfway round New World in the previous book, now Todd has carried desperatley wounded Viola into Haven from a renlentless army lead by his worst enemy, Mayor Prentiss.

Todd is then seperated from Viola immediately interrogated and then imprisoned along with the former Mayor of Haven, Mayor Ledger. Todd is then forced to work for the mayor along with Davy Prentiss Jr. 'herding' Spackle, the native species of New world.

Viola however, now healing from the bullet wound, meets her 'healer' Mistress Coyle and her apprentices Maddy and Corrine. After healing she then works for Mistress Coyle as one of her apprentices.

But secrets are kept secrets until one day the bombs explode...

Who is the Answer? What faith awaits Todd and Viola? Read the book The Ask and The Answer to find out...

Personally for me this book was a pleasure to read. It was suspenseful, thrilling and so wonderful and spectacular that words cannot describe how i felt about this book. It has been a pleasure to read the first book, thank you Mrs Farquhar for introducing it to me. I have very high hopes that reading the next and last book will be just as great as reading the previous two.

Thank you Patrick Ness...
