While the stories in this book are great, I think the best part of it is the idea and how these authors gave their time and are donating the money from it to help veterans, the stories are just the cherry on top.

And what stories they were. While this book focused on SEAL's it could be written with any service person at it's core, as for me, they all seem to have those same values.

I was surprised by how many of these brought tears to my eyes while reading, how many of them were about second chances, and how many of the men were hurt but not damaged or let the injury bring them down in any way. Some of the stories were set in series I was familiar with, others were new ones, but all were very enjoyable.

For anyone who loves a service man this is a great book to read!
