The main premise is that we are not born with a fixed intelligence. People have different intelligences (e.g. math, language, music) and can become more or less intelligent depending on how hard they work to increase or decrease their intelligence. As a person who is looking to go into teaching, this is very relevant information that I may be able to use in the classroom.
