The Healer is a nice, easy read.

I enjoyed the writing, not too wordy but not lacking in description either - I love that style.

Pure escapism; you don't want to think too hard about it but if you're in the mood to be entertained, I think this one delivers.

The romance is sweet but, again shouldn't be over-analysed, ie - leave off the feminist hat.

One thing that bothered me is the hurried ending. All fixed up pretty quickly, although kudos to Sala for her twist with the identity of the bounty hunter - didn't see it coming but then maybe I wasn't on top of my game; I'm sure plenty of other people saw it coming.

A good way to pass a lazy day.
