I picked up this book with some apprehension that it will just be sensational and a thinly veiled effort to convert people to that lifestyle. But by the time I finished the book, it was quite touching. For an Indian like me, it seemed exactly like a joint family! Joe has not glossed over any of the harder details, and the book is quite realistically worded(seems beleivable) though the stuff about revelations etc does not seem too convinving to me

Those of you who read the Sherlock Holmes story about the Mormons/any other mainstream portrayal,should certainly read this great book to get the other side.
