it was amazing

Liz Fenwick's debut novel grabbed my attention from the opening paragraph and kept me turning the pages all the way through. From stroppy teen Hannah to the grieving Maddie, Fenwick created a cast of characters who drew me in and made me care about their lives. I even fell a little bit in love with the house at the centre of it all, and now I'm craving a trip to Cornwall. An atmospheric read, this novel transported me to another place. And for me, it really doesn't get much better than that.
