This fits in between Black and Red really well, and it's paced perfectly. I noticed that TD borrowed at least one semi-idea from CS Lewis, the having faith and seeing what's invisible (Aslan/Roush and Shataiki) and leading people when they can't see the way. The whole book is built on the theme of trust.
Though TD went to the bad guys' povs, he didn't spend too much time there.

Mountainman91 It was a good book, but some of the writing was a tad choppy, which is surprising coming from Dekker. He also simplified (not quite dumbed down, but close) the narrative compared to the circle trilogy.

Denae Christine I didn't notice it, though the action did seem to go faster, esp since he didn't bother with the bad guys' povs as much as he usually does.
