I wish I had the gall to suggest to my Sunday School class that they let me teach this book. Some Christians (who, in error, think wealth is evil, and not something God frequently, shamelessly, promises to many who follow him) find the title offensive. But the fact is, all achievement, all accomplishment, begins with thought. This book marshals thought, adds knowledge, discipline, seeking wise counsel, and coats it all with a generous dose of the fact that the world tends to compensate with wealth those who have added value to the world.

Permit me to quote a small section of one passage I have memorized and recite to myself daily:

"I fully realize that no wealth or position can long endure unless built upon truth and justice. Therefore I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affect." (p. 59)

In almost all cases, wealth follows service, and results from enhancing people's lives.
