really liked it

I was fortunate enough to get an advance copy of Bryan's third Starvation Lake mystery. Be prepared for yet another great story. The whole gang is back, Gus, Darlene, Soupy etal... minus one. Early on in the story one of Starvation Lake's own is found dead... murdered. Once you get to that early scene the story is off and running. As expected there is hockey in this story too, and it is a good sub-plot. Gus needs to leave The Lake for investigation work, which provides a nice little travelouge of Michigan and tightens the main storyline with added facts. So much goes on in this one, and Gruley's deft writing skills really shine because your attention never drops. This guy can really write!

Summer 2012 is a wait for this one, but it is well worth it.
