I read this really quickly and there are those who had problems with the length. Yes, it is only 7 chapters and yes, we wish we spent more time with the characters, BUT, it a very short story. It's as if it would be perfect for an anthology about Fool's Gold, and if you think of it as such, it's lovely. I cried when the heroine gave the hero's daughter the use of her necklace that her own mother gave to her. Very sweet! I hope to see them back in subsequent Fool's Gold novel.
