Very sweet and funny book told in 3 alternating perspectives, looking back on the events of a ninth grade year in Brookline, Mass. Told in letters, school essay assignments, IMs etc.
Main characters are TC (a baseball-obsessed, recovering from death of his mom), his best-friend-almost-brother Augie (korean-american, broadway-loving), and new girl Alejandra (daughter of diplomats, big fan of JFK). Each experience love for the first time and a whole host of ups and downs. Lots of musical theatre references and lots of fun.
