The Lost Tribe of the Sith is a group of eight novellas that was originally released as ebook exclusives written by John Jackson Miller. Book One, Precipice, tells the story of the Omen and its Sith crew crashing onto a foreign planet. The Sith were transporting some valuable Lignan crystals for the High Lords, crystals that would have made the war against the Jedi much simpler. Commander Yaru Korsin has no doubts that his delay in providing the crystals will leave the High Lords disappointed. And there are few things in the galaxy that are more dangerous than angry Sith Lords.
Precipice was a very short, 45-minute read. I would have preferred something longer, but it was a fun, quick, action-filled story that successfully introduced new characters (well, a new group of characters, anyway) into the Expanded Universe. Nevertheless, it leaves you wanting something else.
