Read from January 07 to April 24, 2012

Set in impoverished, rural Mexico, Sparrow Alone on the Housetop, follows Anne Sumner's efforts to make two tiny villages self-sustaining.

When villagers become sick, it is thought that it's just an influenza breakout. But when Anne also falls ill, it becomes apparent that something else is the root cause of the illnesses.

This is where the suspense level ramps up. The reader becomes one with Anne as she follows the clues and eventually discovers the reason people have become ill and some have died.

It was a great read and I look forward to more from these authors.
