In the book, Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, the story of an old Sith Lord is revealed. In the beginning, a man named Dessel, who was abused as a child, works on a mining plant on a desolate planet. He is very angry about his father since it was his fathers fault he was stuck on the planet. As this is happening, the great Sith Empire continuously battles the forces of the Republic. Lord Kaan, leader of the Sith, and General Hoth, leader of the Jedi, are at constant war. Back on the mining world, a game at a bar gets very serious, a trooper had been playing Dessel for money all night. Things get out of hand and he becomes wanted. He escapes the planet to become a soldier in the Sith army. When he is later arrested, he is taken to Korriban, the Sith Homeworld. He is told about his force sensitivity. They send him to train to be a Sith Lord. Dessel renames himself as Bane. After many years of training, He finds out the way the Sith empire is being ruled. After a quest to find a holocron, an ancient Sith artifact, he learns something vital. He learns the Sith must be remade. As Darth Bane, he decides to make the Sith only two. One master and one apprentice. First, he must destroy the present Sith Empire. I think this book is written very well. I recommend this to any Star Wars fans. In some parts it went a little slow, but it is a very suspenseful book. I look forward to reading the next books in the series.
