I was interested to see what happened to Cassia and Kai, (but really only Xander, and he was hardly in it). The thing that bothered me the most was the fact that they were constantly "running", trying to get away from The Society, or The Enemy, or whoever, and yet we hardly EVER saw the pursuers. There was literally a point in the book where I thought Condie was gonna pull a fast one, and we were going to find out that NO ONE was actually chasing them. Overall, there is too much dissecting of poems and not enough action. Also, love the secondary characters more than the primary. Cassia bugs the crap out of me. I won't say that I don't believe her (I don't) but that she seems to have no intensity in her feelings. This could be the narrator's voice/manner of reading.
