I was underwhelmed with this. None of the main characters are likable, I tired of the frequent changes in narrator and reading the Scots or Scottish or Corrupted English or whatever it is, and you could see the "revelation" about Skinner's possible father coming a mile away.

And, this is not a criticism of the book per se, but I'm so used to reading older books that I'm thrown off a bit by characters sending emails and surfing the web.
