Reads more like a mystery or thriller, than a historical book. Much different than other other book written by the author.

I read this shortly after reading "Manhunt: The 12 day search for Lincoln's Killer". They overlapped considerably, but complimented each other nicely.

If you don't know how John Wilkes Booth was caught - or - if you didn't know there is a credible theory that the Secretary of State was behind the killing, you should read it.
