THE BEST BOOK OF 2008! Screw anything else I may read this year. This book WINS now. If I start writing a review of the reasons I adored it I have a feeling I would accidentally write a novel of why I love this novel. I'll save that for another day, but until then FRIGGIN READ THIS BOOK. Seriously. Also, since I seem unable to talk about books without mentioning covers, talk about a great one! Not only is it eye-catching but it gives nothing away, while at the same time saying SO MUCH. Cory Doctorow: consider yourself BFF'ed.

Patrick what is this? they had it right inside the door at the barnes and noble by me.

Colleen Venable Basically it's about a group of kids that stand up to the government after the government turns into a "BIG BROTHER" type state: everyone being tracked, searched, spyed on, everywhere they go. It's also very much about being a teen and trying to find yourself. I swear this one is going to become a classic in the 1984, Farenheit 451, Brave New World tradition.
