I think John Cory can be a character that will be expanded. Yes he is a bit immature but he can grow as well as grow on you. As far as the book goes, the story is good but it Dimille takes too long to get to the point. I think John Cory gets too involved in what people are wearing and Demille repeats parts of the story which makes me want to skip a page or two.

Jen Segaloff As you read the John Corey books... think of him as Judd. They have similar personalities. I told Aunt Pat that and she told me John Corey is one of her least favorite DeMille characters. I read all the blunt and rude comments that John Corey makes in the books outload to Judd and he laughs his head off!
