Time travel is not his usual fare. But this trip into the past is not without that dark element we have all come to know and love. I enjoyed every element that was so expertly woven together in this book. With that being said I was disappointed slightly with the end of the book. It had to end the way it did, and maybe because I figured out the end before it came is why i was disappointed. The entire trip taken up to the end was so worth the journey. It has been a long time since a book has made my heart pound, shed a tear, or made me wince at a characters misfortune. All I can really say is read it and enjoy!

Jaime Lee SK has quite a bit of time travel in some of his greatest works, look at The Talisman and the DT series.
