I don't really know why I picked this up. It was on the New Arrivals shelf at the library, and was short, so I figured what the hell. I guess I figured it might give me some things to think about that might be applicable in my job, since I deal with people a great deal.

Basically, this book is a mini-treatise on how to win friends and influence people, packaged as a short fiction. Some of the advice and anecdotes in the book seemed a little cliche/obvious, but some of it did give me a new perspective on how I interact with people. It did indeed give me some things to think about.

(For some reason, I found myself moved to tears by the second to last chapter. Really not sure what that reaction was about.)
