I wanted to like this much more than I did, but although I love Gibson's ideas, I just don't get into his writing style the way I do other authors. I always feel very outside his books, detached from the characters, and this one was very similar. Also, the sex scenes are clearly written by a dude. I don't normally pay much attention to that stuff, I guess the majority of the books I read don't have sex scenes, but coming off of Outlander's steamy scenes... I don't know, it just wasn't even a little hot. Probably TMI for a social network that I am friends with my mom, dad, aunt, and mother-in-law on, but keeping it real.

Valerie Valentine haha Great review, Molly. I have to agree that I have felt outside Gibson's writing as well. Had to abandon Neuromancer and will probably skip this.
