On third story and loved the first two.
1/1/12 on story 10 1/14/12 just finished this anthology and it is the first one I've ever completely finished. I usually buy the book and proceed to only read the one short story that drew me to the anthology. I have never read any of these authors but found each story had something poignant and important to say. There was romance, intrigue, humor and pain, each story had its own mixture of each. I enjoyed them all and was reminded that each day those who serve put themselves last and their country's safety first; veterans come home to new babies, damaged relationships, spouses/ significant others that wait each day for their return. And there are those who never return. God Bless them and their families.
Letters to Ellie was an incredible final story. What a reward at the end of the book of all of the stories this was very powerful to me. Going on the veterans research corporation website to give a donation as a thank to our veterans.
Thank you Netgalley for providing the ARC.

On 11th story, I am really enjoying them all and trying not to compare them to each other because they all have merit and a slant of their own.
On the 14th story now, thanks everyone who said to parcel this anthology into segments because I am not rushing through each story but enjoying each authors offering. What a great group of shorties. Most are emotional with bits of fun.
