I actually really loved this book. I feel like I should think it was cheesy, but I was so drawn in by the whole storyline that I pretty much found excuses to drive around so I could finish it (I listened to the audiobook)

The book was a great mix of teen girl angst--girl has to move from her home in California to a small town in Oklahoma and deals with some intense cliquey popular girls (the "Goldens") try to make her life hell while she struggles to make new friends, misses her old friends (including a boy she kissed right before she moved) and has parents who don't understand her--and paranormal/supernatural/mystery type stuff.

Like I said before, I feel like I should think it was cheesy, but in the same way that I should have thought The Princess Diaries was cheesy but was actually totally glued to the entire series, I pretty much can't wait to read the sequel (as far as I can tell, the sequel is not available in audiobook format, though, so I'll probably end up holding off a little)
