This is my first time reading this author. I was recommended Morgan's Choice and saw that this book is free on Barnes & Noble and is #0.5 and thought it might help with back story. Well I hope it helps with back story. It's about Morgan who is an off-kilter Supertech (implanted with super genes and I guess a computer type system at birth?). She's been sent to a very boring place and is finally given a job she likes, duplicating a plane/jet's engine/computer system?. The only problem is the plane's frame is substandard and no one will listen to her. She tries to go around her commander and still it's going forward. There's an evil Admiral too. There's also a "give me a break" ending. It makes me want to hold off reading Morgan's Choice now until I've read some other books I might enjoy more. I think I'll do that.
