Coyote's Mate (Breeds, #18)

I was interested in this from the beginning. Loved the fact that Del-Ray had met Anya so long before things finally heat up. Anya was strong and determined. Liked her character in the beginning. Anya took to being the coyote queen very well. She didn't take crap and was strong. So of course I was very confused when suddenly she was this weak "willing to take any scrap from a man" woman. What? How did that happen. Yeah, yeah Del-Ray was doing his "whats best for her regardless of how stupid it is or what her opinion is" thing. There were things I liked about Del-Ray. I liked him just fine in the beginning even after the first little betrayal. I got his reasons. In a military mind they made since. But after that it all went down hill. He was honestly not great to Anya and as a leader didn't seem to listen to even the people he respected the most. And really he listened to everyone more than he listened to Anya. I'm sorry, but didn't she deserve a little respect. Well needless to say these weren't my favorite leads while they both had a strong start the rest of their actions drove me crazy. They got it together in the end, but they just weren't my favorites in the Breed series.
