I don't need to read anymore.
This may be a good book, but I don't promote slut-shaming. So I'm taking this one off my list. Frankly, I find that quote disgusting. Which is a shame because it looks like a well-written book. On to the next.

You miss out on quite a bit by dismissing a book for including characters whose views you disagree with or giving up before you know where it's heading. There are also homophobic characters in this book, but I'd strongly disagree with anyone who reads this novel as actually advocating slut-shaming or homophobia. It sounds like you don't like books that tackle tough issues.

I read plenty of books that deal with tough issues. Before you make a statement like that, you should check the rest of my shelves. I am entitled to my own opinion though. Perhaps you should write your own review instead of trolling mine. Notice I did not rate the book. Just stated my opinion. And I do believe that is what this site is for. But thanks for your comment.
