Seriously…I’m kidding, by Ellen DeGeneres, narrated by the author, produced by Hachette Audio, downloaded from audible.com.
This is a delightful extension of her monologues on her show, or her former stand-up comedy routines. They are very funny-about obsessiveness, dreams, trying to meditate, and other things. This is an audio version of her book but there is a PDF version of the book available as well. This book includes Ellen’s general optimism, warmth, and the last chapter is full of nice affirmations for her audience. She begins the book in a typical Ellen way:
"I've experienced a whole lot the last few years, and I have a lot to share. So I hope that you'll take a moment to sit back, relax, and enjoy the words
I've put together for you in this book. I think you'll find I've left no stone unturned, no door unopened, no window unbroken, no rug unvacuumed, no ivories
untickled. What I'm saying is, let us begin, shall we?"
The only difficulty with this book is the speed at which Ellen speak. I cant even begin to move my mouth that fast!
