MASQUE was Very different from what I expected, but in a great way. It completely stands out from the dystopian genre, and I really felt like I was submerged in a dark, mystical world where fear lurks around every corner, and there is no one to trust. What a fascinating world Bethany Griffin painted, and a wonderful, dynamic main character. I would want Araby to be my best friend, especially in tough times. I couldn't figure out if this was supposed to be set way back when, or way in the future in a dilapidated world, but either way....I loved it. I loved the mystery and the gorgeous writing, gorgeous setting, beautiful characters...everything. What a great tribute to Poe (and I got the ARC on his birthday. Creepy!)

:) Awesome job, Bethany! I can't wait for the sequel!!!
