it was amazing

Blurb: Although he keeps company with a vampire and a were, human Shaman Caleb O'Flare can definitely hold his own. But neither his psychic ability nor his healing powers can help his sexy-as-hell teammate, Wraith-a ghost with no memory of her human existence, who cannot experience touch without pain. No wraith has managed to exist past its tenth year, so her time is about to run out. She wants only two things before accepting her fate: to learn her human identity, and experience one night with Caleb...

Review: Chosen by Fate book two in Para Ops is one thrilling read. We're led back into the lifes of the Para Ops team, this time with Shaman Caleb and Wraith. Their sexual tension is palpable and leaps off the pages, so is their distrust of everything. I felt for Wraith and her inability to see love, feel loved and love herself. Her pain made my heart break, the want in her eyes for Caleb made my soulhurt. I love a strong hero and Caleb was just that. I thought for sure he'd tell Mahone hell no but he didn't. He carried so much guilt on his shoulders I could see it eating him away. When Wraith gives him a choice he jumps on it only to be let down. I found the internal struggle within each of them relatable and hoped they'd find in one another a better way of living. This is one emotional roller coaster read filled with action suspense and many twists. It's def on the virtual keeper shelf and when I get it in print will be there as well.
