Of the three "reimagined classics" I've read (Pride and Predjudice and Zombies, and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter) this is by far my favorite. I'm sure that it helps that I have read the original Little Woman numerous times and continue to love it. I thought that of all the ones I have read, the new element fit the best here. The introduction of the warewolves (and some of our favorite main characters being them!) was actually almost, dare I say it, seemless. I think my one chief complaint would be the handling of Jo once she finds that **SPOILER** Laurie is a warewolf. She has a very strong physical attraction to him for a large chunk of the book and I think that it hurt her character for me a bit. Her obliviousness in the original is one of her best qualities, I've always thought. Overall, a really fun read.
