The spirit of Christmas is alive and flows into the hearts of the reads once they read The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. The Polar Express is a story about a young boy taking a wondrous ride towards the North Pole via the magical train, The Polar Express. The books illustration is spectacular, each of the things shown in the book seems so lifelike and real, it wasn’t hard to notice the little details that the illustration shows. The story has an easy flow; it lets the readers ease through the pages one by one by its soft and relaxing narrative. What I believed to be the best thing to take out of the book is the feeling of believing in something. The story which tells of believing something so strongly that it will never disappear is a wonderful Christmas tale to show the kids on Christmas Eve. I highly recommend this book and with the perfect closing remark I would like to quote “the bell still rings for me, as it does for all who truly believe.”
