Lightweight mystery series set in the 1950s English countryside. The unique part of this series is that it follows an 11 year old girl whose passion is chemistry. I think this concept could have gotten too cutesy and cloying, but I surprisingly enjoyed this for a light read. I'll probably read the next couple books that are out from the series.
