Wendy Darling I wouldn't waste my time. Hah.

Becky LOL. Well, I guess I know whether or not I'll be adding this to my TBR list. ;)

Wendy Darling Hah, well...a lot of dear friends really enjoyed this, but it just wasn't for me. I did like the beginning and the idea of a setting in India with magical tigers and all that. But the main character is really dumb and annoying, the writing is very awkward, and I really wasn't into the romance.

Rachel Oh Wendy. I just started this and I'm finding the writing to be unbearably awkward. I'm hoping the story will make up for it, though you're not making me hopeful.

message 5: by Desiree (new)

Desiree oddly enough all the bad reviews only strengthens my resolve to read it. self torture perhaps?

Melodramaticfool that bad? o_o

Wendy Darling Oh, looks like Rachel liked it after all! A lot of my friends did. So you might enjoy it too, who knows, Desiree.

I wasn't a fan, Melodramatic, but it's a pretty popular series. Maybe try it out from the library before you buy? Or download the first chapter for your ereader...

Melodramaticfool good idea. I guess I've been hesitant since I've been getting feedback such as "writing is plain" or "no villains, so it was kinda boring" or "main character sucks" lol

Wendy Darling I think you'll know pretty quickly whether you find the writing tolerable. If it doesn't work for you within the first couple of chapters, I'd move on! But if it doesn't bother you, then you may end up liking it.

Melodramaticfool alright, i'll take you up on that suggestion! thanks.

Kritika A friend recommended this to me, but your review (or rather, lack theirof) is making me wary. So it's another typical paranormal romance? sighs

Becky I just borrowed this from the library and might give it a try after all. All the comments about the awkward writing style are making me nervous, though. I know this started out as a self-pub, so we'll see if an editor cleaned this up or not.
