Blood Trilogy #1, BCU #10
I've read several of Kay Hopper's BCU series, not all and not in order. This one did not seem to grab me like the others did. the story was decent and the psychic stuff was good, some different stuff but it just did not pull me in.

This book does elude to other possible stories down the line. One of the supporting characters, also an SCU member makes a comment that leads me to believe we'll be reading more about her in the future. I have yet to come across any cross-overs between books, besides Bishop, but I also have not read all 9 in the series yet. One highlight I have been waiting *POSSIBLE SPOILER*

...the ending implies the next book or a future book will come back to the unclosed aspect of the case in Blood Dreams.
